The Vuosaaren Urheilutalo Recreation Center is located in Vuosaari, the eastern district of Helsinki, not far from metro station. The center offers various possibilities for active rest including a gym, a swimming pool, run tracks and an exercise room for track-and-field athletics. Here one can also book the session of massage or physical therapy, take therapeutic exercises. Aged men are welcome to special procedures. All these facilities include free visiting of a swimming pool or a sauna.
In addition to the main swimming pool the Vuosaaren Urheilutalo features a swimming pool for beginners, a children's swimming pool and a cold water swimming pool. Water is purified by ozone treatment. All the swimming pools of the Vuosaaren Urheilutalo have specialized lifts for disabled.
The recreation center also hosts a cafe, a solarium, a children play area as well as several saunas for rent.
