The Linnanmaki amusement park is one of the most favorite places both for Helsinki inhabitants and tourists. The oldest in Finland amusement park was opened in 1950, and since that time Linnanmaki presents its visitors a great variety of amusing attractions. Both grown-up guests and children enjoy the roller coaster and the chair-o-plane, the Ferris wheel and the Ghost train. In the park the guests will also find plenty of midway games, several games arcades, and a free play area for the kids called the Fairytale Valley.
There are also live shows every day on the outdoor stage. After satisfying oneself with extreme attractions one can try fortune with gamble and slot machines or visit a cafe, restaurants and souvenir shops conveniently located over on the park's territory.
In 2003 the Linnanmaki had received an unusual and splendid gift - the first in Scandinavia Sea Life center where the guests can admire rare and picturesque sea inhabitants.
The Linnanmaki amusement park is situated in the very center of Helsinki. One can get there by tram 3B, 3T, 8 or by bus 23. Entrance to the park is free.
