The Heureka Science Center is located in Vantaa, a satellite town of Helsinki. One can get to the Heureka in 20 minutes by train (Tikkurila railway station) from Helsinki or by bus from Helsinki and Vantaa.
Being the unique exhibition complex of scientific attractions the Heureka offers to get acquainted with the latest achievements of science and technology. All the exhibitions are interactive so the visitors can take part in solving mathematical problems, adjusting telescope, make experiments in a chemical lab and even examine linguistic abilities.
The permanent exhibition of the Heureka Center offers the visitors to popular mysteries of mathematics, physics, astronomy, chemistry and anatomy. Here one can also visit the World Village exhibiting the way of life and traditions of various nations through the entire world.
The Verne Theater is both the planetarium and spacious movie theater of unique spherical form, where various scientific movies are presented.
In Galileo scientific park you can cross the river by a bridge made by yourself, carry out experiments, perform tests, produce energy in the Energy Area and walk on the wave surface. The park is open from May to September.
Most amusing exhibitions are meant first of all for children. Young visitors can carry out amazing experiments with soap bubbles, ride on circus bike and walk over the Moon's surface in a spacesuit.
